Sea Salt Body Scrub: Who Else Needs a Miracle?

sea salt body scrub Gandhi began a revolution with a handful of sea salt.
Jesus called his followers, “the salt of the earth”.

Is sea salt body scrub a miracle for skin diseases ?

Religions and Doctors Agree

All religions reference the power of salt. Even tossing a bit of salt over the shoulder for luck originated from the belief that salt heals, in one way or another.

The Jewish Talmud asserts that a dip in the Dead Sea, where the world’s highest concentration of sea salt lies, is good for health. Tourists and locals alike seek out the Dead Sea, raving about its healing properties.

Even modern doctors agree. “It’s probably almost the perfect situation created by nature for treating psoriasis, and other skin diseases,” says dermatologist Jeffrey Altman , medical director of the Mevena Derma Center in Chicago, who uses the sea salt in his practice.

The Miracle-Working Sea Salt Body Scrub Recipe

An exfoliating sea salt body scrub at a day spa costs around $135. You can get the same results from a sea salt scrub made at home.

Just mix 1 cup powdered sea salt with ½ cup organic olive oil.

Add 5-10 drops of essential oil to your sea salt body scrub. Lavender or chamomile oils work double-duty, helping to soothe the nerves and heal the skin.

Rose oil rejuvenates, and fennel, patchouli, or lemon oils reportedly help with obesity. Mix well until the sea salt body scrub holds together lightly.

The Treatment:

When you’re ready for this wonderful natural body scrub treatment, soak in a bath for 15-20 minutes to soften the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin.

Let the water out of the bath, and pat yourself dry, taking care not to rub. Sit on the edge of the tub, with your feet inside.

Put a towel inside the tub, so you don’t slip. With a warm, damp washcloth, apply sea salt body scrub gently and slowly, in small circular motions, from feet and lower legs, all the way up.

When you get to your trunk, stand up. Use a body brush to get the sea salt body scrub on your back. Do not use the sea salt body scrub on your face or other, delicate areas.

After you’ve applied sea salt body scrub, rinse in the shower with water that is only slightly warmer than body temperature. Hot water causes your body to release minerals. Do this once a week to slough off dead skin, and nourish the younger skin which emerges.

With regular sea salt body scrubs, you should see more youthful-looking and healthier skin. You can then begin to experiment with other types of natural beauty treatments, to see what works best for you.
